Prior to joining the IHH Group in 2016, Dr. Shazril Imran served as an Oncologist and Medical Lecturer in Oncology at the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Penang and Kelantan campus. His dedication to education and patient care led him to join the IHH group as the Resident Oncologist and Head of Oncology Services at Pantai Hospital Sungai Petani, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the first cancer center in Kedah state. Dr. Imran's commitment to excellence also led him to serve as a Sessional Oncologist at Pantai Hospital Penang and Visiting Oncologist at Gleneagles Hospital Penang.

Dr. Shazril Imran earned his medical degree from the University of Leicester and advanced oncology training at The Christie School of Oncology, Manchester. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists and holds a Specialty Certificate in Medical Oncology.
